Etienne Khan is a third-year PhD candidate with the Design and Analysis of Communication Systems (DACS) group at the University of Twente, Netherlands.
His research focuses on residential proxies (RESIPs) and their usage on the Internet.
His first publication investigated how commercial VPN providers utilize RESIPs to circumvent geo-restrictions for multimedia content.
His current follow-up research explores RESIP recruitment methods and analyzes the types of traffic tunneled through these proxies.
